Everyone is invited to visit Poets House on Wed Aug 10 anytime from 6:30 – 9 PM.

Poets House is a 70,000-volume poetry library and national literary center that invites poets and the public to step into the living tradition of poetry. Poets House—through its poetry resources, literary events for adults and children, and exhibitions—documents the wealth and diversity of modern poetry and stimulates public dialogue on issues related to poetry in culture. In 2009, Poets House moved into its permanent home, at 10 River Terrace in Battery Park City, on the banks of the Hudson River. Ann Benedetto (owner of A Uno) will be there promoting Tribeca Alliance, a new organization of local businesses. She is eager to speak with any and all potential supporters.

If you have never attended a Tribeca Meet & Greet, now’s the time. We have been meeting in a different Tribeca restaurant or business about once a month.  We've been able to exchange some ideas, do some networking and have a drink with the neighbors. Some people show up for the full evening, some just drop by to say hello. Frankly Wines at 66 West Broadway will kindly provide some beverages and MaxDelivery will bring some nibblybits and please come taste MontaVida coffee - a new combination of the very highest quality Columbian and Costa Rican coffee beans and ramon seeds. This means that several local businesses have joined in presenting this event.  If anyone else would like to contribute, please contact me at the address below.

We expect to have a friendly group and a terrific time with a chance to learn some useful things about our neighborhood. Please feel free to bring business cards, menus, flyers and other information about you and your business.  I am thrilled to say that these get-togethers are over ten years old and represent a terrific neighborhood spirit on the part of everyone who has hosted or attended. Tribeca Meet and Greet is organized by BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center.
