Everyone is invited to visit Fountain Pen Hospital on Monday, March 6 anytime from 6:30 – 9 PM.
This is a great opportunity to mingle with other Tribeca businesses while paying a visit to a unique Tribeca emporium.
Fountain Pen Hospital has been around since 1946 and carries the world’s finest selection of new and vintage pens, inks and accessories. Come meet Terry and Steve Wiederlight, the brothers whose family began the business and take a look at the vintage and modern writing instruments they have to offer. How many times have you walked past this place and wondered what mysteries were just behind their doors? This is your chance to come and explore one of Tribeca’s treasures.
If you have never attended a Tribeca Meet & Greet, now’s the time. We have been meeting in a different Tribeca restaurant or business about once a month. We've been able to exchange some ideas, do some networking and have a drink with the neighbors. Some people show up for the full evening, some just drop by to say hello. Frankly Wines at 66 West Broadway will kindly provide some beverages, MaxDelivery will bring some nibblybits and there will be a giveaway of some items donated by various Tribeca companies. This means that several local businesses have joined in presenting this event. If anyone else would like to contribute, please contact me at the address below.
We expect to have a friendly group and a terrific time with a chance to learn some useful things about our neighborhood. Please feel free to bring business cards, menus, flyers and other information about you and your business. I am thrilled to say that these get-togethers are over ten years old and represent a terrific neighborhood spirit on the part of everyone who has hosted or attended. Tribeca Meet and Greet is organized by BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center.
For those who have inquired about my health, I am up and around and functioning well, though I still need to use the walker. Looking forward to seeing everyone turn out for this event.
PLEASE FORWARD this around, especially to the new businesses in town.
