Everyone is invited to visit Fred Astaire Dance Studio on Thursday February 22, anytime from 6:30 – 9 PM. They aren’t a storefront business; they’re up on the 9th floor. This is a great opportunity to mingle with other Tribeca businesses on a chilly winter evening.
Fred Astaire Dance Studio Downtown New York is a part of a famous franchise which was opened by the Fred Astaire himself. The Studio opened in Tribeca on September 1st, 2017 and welcomes Students all levels, all ages and all aspirations to learn Ballroom, Latin & Social Dancing. The owners and teachers) are 2 Ukrainian couples Svitlana Gliebova, Artur Sveshnikov, Mykhailo Azarov & Tetyana Makarenko.
If you have never attended a Tribeca Meet & Greet, now’s the time. We have been meeting in a different Tribeca restaurant or business about once a month. We've been able to exchange some ideas, do some networking and have a drink with the neighbors. Some people show up for the full evening, some just drop by to say hello. Frankly Wines at 66 West Broadway will kindly provide some beverages. This means that several local businesses have joined in presenting this event. If anyone else would like to contribute, please contact me at the address below.
David Grubb (of CMIT Tribeca) and Ann Benedetto (of A Uno) will be there to discuss their plans for Tribeca Alliance, although I promise there will be no speeches.
We expect to have a friendly group and a terrific time with a chance to learn some useful things about our neighborhood. Please feel free to bring business cards, menus, flyers and other information about you and your business. I am thrilled to say that these get-togethers are over ten years old and represent a terrific neighborhood spirit on the part of everyone who has hosted or attended. Tribeca Meet and Greet is organized by BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center.
PLEASE FORWARD this around, especially to the new businesses in town.
